Flora – What plant species will I find?

Depending on the time of year that you visit the Reserve, you'll find many and varied botanical delights. Look closely and you will see some of the gnarled and ancient She Oaks that have survived since European settlement.

Other species that have would have grown on the Reserve are now being replanted. A showcase of the smaller understorey species can be found at the lower shelter garden, and you might be lucky enough to find some growing at other places on the Reserve, under the many Manna Gums, She Oaks and Blackwood trees that have been planted by the local community.
