The Mt Leura and Mt Sugarloaf
Reserves are located on the south-east edge of the Camperdown township,
approximately 2 ½ hours drive south west of Melbourne.
There is road access to the top of Mt Leura from Lawrence St. A beautiful, panoramic viewpoint.
Look out across the nested maar.
See if you can spot Mount Elephant on the horizon!
On a clear day The Grampians can be seen.
There are several walking trails within the reserve,
and Mt Leura is a great starting point from which to explore the
habitat.
Relax and watch the colours unfold upon the plains from the setting sun, or a sunrise for those of you
who are
early birds!
